I teach a wide range of guitar styles, from basic Acoustic Strumming, to Classical to Fingerpicking, to Electric Blues, Rock and Heavy Metal.

Many guitar lessons start off in one style, say Acoustic Fingerpicking, and then develop towards playing Electric Blues and visa versa. Most pupils tend to have an electric guitar and an acoustic (or a bass) and the lessons can switch between these styles.

Besides teaching you how to play the guitar and learning songs, I bring in additional theory that is relevant to your musical development,
 such as:- how chords are constructed so you can work the patterns out for yourself, scales,CAGED system, how to improvise and make up your own guitar solos.

I only put pupils in for EXAMS if THEY want me to and when I know they are capable of passing. Guitar and Bass Exams are NOT COMPULSORY ; they are not cheap either, but they do provide a good focus and good reason to practice.
