Hi There, my name is Ian Baker; I set up AB Guitar Services in August 2005, to provide full time tuition to anyone, young or old, wishing to learn to play guitar or bass. I also offer free advice for anyone looking to buy their 1st guitar and carry out guitar set-ups and servicing. Although my involvement in music started at the age of 5, with the piano, I've been playing guitar since the age of 11 or 12; was Classically trained  until the age of 18 and did my LCM exams, but rock guitar was always what I wanted to do. I would learn my classical pieces for the teacher/exams, but spent more time listening to and learning to play songs and licks by AC/DC,Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest and many more. Now 30+yrs on and 2 Blues/Rock cd's later, I play and teach a range of  guitar styles from Classical to Acoustic Finger picking, Rock to Blues to Modern Heavy Metal and most styles in between.
